New age yarn for eco-friendly, soft and silky functional comfort
Lenzing MicroTENCEL®, the fiber for US Tencel™ Micro is spun from fibers made from FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified Eucalyptus wood pulp which is processed in a “Close Loop” system recognized by the European Union as safe and sustainable. Fabrics made with MicroTENCEL® are stable, durable, soft and silky and yet provides desirable functionalities not present in other cellulose fibers. MicroTENCEL® naturally inhibits the growth of bacteria and features moisture transfer performance. The micro-denier fibers allow for more fibers per cross-section of the yarn which only enhances the performance of the yarn and fabric in strength, softness, drape, pilling, and sheen.
Due to the high dimensional stability in dry and wet state, fabrics from US Tencel™ Micro are ideal wherever a superior quality is most important.
